Terms of Service

BetScanr is a personal bet-tracking and analytics tool. You upload screenshots of bets you’ve already placed with your own bookmaker, and the app reads, organizes, and tracks them for you.

BetScanr is not a bookmaker, gambling operator, or payment processor. It never accepts a bet, never holds or moves real money on your behalf, and never connects to any bookmaker account. Any “balance” shown in the app is a personal ledger you maintain yourself by logging your own deposits and withdrawals — not a real account balance held by BetScanr.

Trends, streaks, recommendations, and any “value”/edge figures shown in the app are statistical observations computed from historical results and, where shown, real bookmaker odds. They are informational only — not betting advice, and not a guarantee of any outcome. Past results never guarantee future ones.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age for gambling-related content in your jurisdiction if higher, to use BetScanr. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.

BetScanr’s statistical features — including the Poisson/Dixon-Coles probability model, Match Probability Model, and Smart Betslip Generator (and any “Edge” percentage shown alongside them) — are provided “as is,” for informational and entertainment purposes only.

• We don’t guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any sports data or odds shown.
• Mathematical models and historical statistics are estimates, not guarantees of future outcomes.
• Using BetScanr, including any suggestion from the Smart Betslip Generator, is not a promise of profit or protection from loss.

• One account per person. Don’t share your login or impersonate someone else.
• Keep the information you provide accurate — it’s how the app tracks your own results correctly.
• You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

You keep ownership of the screenshots and data you upload. By uploading them, you give BetScanr permission to process, store, and display that content back to you as part of providing the service (extracting bet details, computing your own statistics, and so on) — we don’t use your slip content for anything beyond that, and never sell it.

If you choose to make a slip or profile public (the Feed or Tipsters features), you’re granting other users permission to view that specific content, exactly as it appears in the app.

BetScanr includes optional loss-limit tracking and reminders (Settings → Responsible Gambling), purely informational — the app has no way to actually stop a bet placed elsewhere. If betting is causing you harm, using BetScanr does not replace real support — please reach out to one of these real, free resources instead:

• GambleAware — free, confidential support 24/7 (National Gambling Helpline).
• National Council on Problem Gambling — the National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-MY-RESET), U.S. and territories.
• Outside the UK or U.S.? GamCare’s international support directory lists a real local contact for your own country.

Don’t use BetScanr to:

• Break any law, or use it for anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, automate, or abuse the app’s API or background services beyond normal personal use.
• Upload content that isn’t yours, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data without permission.

BetScanr is provided “as is.” Bet-slip extraction relies on automated image reading and can make mistakes; always check what was extracted against your own real slip. We don’t guarantee the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetScanr and its developers aren’t liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including financial losses, lost profits, or data inaccuracies. You use BetScanr, and any bet you place elsewhere based on it, entirely at your own risk.

BetScanr’s own content, features, algorithms, and design — everything except the screenshots and data you personally upload — belong to BetScanr. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our permission.

You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Privacy & Account → Delete my account) — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that does. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.

If these terms change meaningfully, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use BetScanr after a change means you’ve accepted it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from your use of BetScanr will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Israel.
